All area residents are invited to Churdan Sunday evening, Sept. 10, for a program entitled “Remembering September 11, 2001, in song and verse”.
Paton-Churdan students will perform “God Bless America,” followed by the Town and Country Band. The band’s selections will include readings by members of the community.
The program will begin at 7 pm in the Churdan city park. Churdan library staff and trustees will serve ice cream treats at 6:30 pm until the concert begins. A free will donation for the library will be accepted.
Attendees should bring lawn chairs.
